Hello. My name is Connah Daniel Llewellyn Broom and I am 11 years old.
In 2005 I was diagnosed with a very rare - and aggressive - cancer called Neuroblastoma. I was given two protocols of chemotherapy which didn't work and because we did not think that radiation treatment would help me I was sent home. At that time I had eleven tumours from my neck to my leg. The doctors told my Grandad and Nana that I was going to die. But I didn't die.
Today I am still alive and that's because of what my Grandad and Nana did. I still have cancer in my body. It could still come back. That's why I still have to continue the many therapies that I have been doing since I came out of hospital. And these therapies are expensive so if you can help me pay for them please Donate anything you can.
You can read about my story in my book The Amazing Cancer Kid.
If you are affected by Neuroblastoma I hope my story will be useful to you - maybe, Grandad says, you would like to read it anyway because it has been quite a journey!
This is my site, it's all about me and my fight against this very rare cancer.
If you are affected by Neuroblastoma, maybe we can help you in some way. If I can help you please contact us.
This is going to be a long fight for me and I will need all the support I can get, so please post messages for me. They will be read to me and give me support to beat this horrible disease.
